Who we are

SchoolManagee provides cloud school management software and a student information system for K-12 schools, academies and districts. For privacy questions about this website or a demo request, email zubair@akstuudio.com. Schools that subscribe are the controllers of their student records; SchoolManagee processes that information for them.

Information on this website

Demos are booked through the Google Calendar scheduler embedded on this site. Google collects the details you enter there, typically your name and email, to create the appointment. We use that booking to hold the walkthrough and prepare pricing. We do not sell that information. You can also email zubair@akstuudio.com or message us on WhatsApp. We use Microsoft Clarity to see how the marketing site is used: pages visited, clicks, and a session replay. Clarity does not receive student records from the school product. Server logs may include your IP address, browser and the pages you request, used to keep the site reliable and secure.

Information in the product

When a school uses SchoolManagee, the platform is built to hold student and guardian records, enrollment, attendance, grades, report cards, messages, fee and payment records, staff records, health notes, special education or SEND plans, and safeguarding notes restricted to designated staff. The school decides what to store and who may see it.

Access is role-based. Teachers, counselors, nurses, parents and students see different slices of the record. Single sign-on with Google and Microsoft is supported. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Hosting regions are available for North America, the UK/EU and Australia. Changes to records are written to an audit log.

Privacy laws the product is built to support

SchoolManagee is built to support FERPA and COPPA in the United States, GDPR and UK GDPR, PIPEDA in Canada, and the Australian Privacy Principles. Those controls help a school meet its own duties. They do not replace the school’s policies, notices or contracts. A list of subprocessors is available on request.

How long we keep marketing enquiries

Demo requests are kept long enough to respond, quote and follow up, and then deleted or anonymised unless we are still talking or the law requires us to keep a record. Product data is kept for the life of the school’s subscription and for a documented export window after it ends, as set out in the school’s agreement.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export personal information, to object to certain processing, or to complain to a supervisory authority. Parents and students should contact their school first about a student record — the school controls that data. For this website, email zubair@akstuudio.com.

Children

This marketing site is aimed at school staff and other adults. The product is used by schools to serve students, including children, under the school’s authority and settings.
